1. Why work with Mr. Fred?
I have been teaching technology (coding, design, project management, etc.) at the collegiate level for 23 years and have been recognized multiple times with awards for teaching.
I have presented my work at international conferences.
I have been recognized as a leader in our teaching community and worked with all ages to introduce them to technology.
2. How do you know so much about technology?
My background is computer science/math as an undergraduate with an advanced degree in information systems management. Additionally, I have spent years as a software developer as an Oracle developer and team lead for technology projects at one of the largest telecommunication providers on the east coast of the United States.
3. What interesting things have you done while teaching?
I am currently a program coordinator overseeing the delivery of a four year technology degree. I was originally brought on board to ramp up a 2 Year Associates degree and then the build out of a 4 Year Bachelors degree which brought on the responsibility of preparing many new technology courses, developing innovative and engaging lab exercises, and incorporating gamified learning strategies.
4. Are you a U.S. Military Veteran?
Yes. I am a former United State Marine Major who proudly served the United States in various locations all around the world.
5. What will I get out of this time with Mr. Fred?
If you are like me and teaching technology, there are times when it can feel intimidating and it can even get expensive. I may not have done it all but I have done quite a bit and you can use me to bounce ideas, ask advice, seek instruction, or we can even collaborate.
